I received an ATAR of 90.45 and am eligible for 3 bonus points into the course of my choice, which has a cutoff of 91. With the whole selection rank scheme, is it safe to say that I am guaranteed a place in the course I have applied for?

I'd say you're safe. Assuming you're hoping for some sort of engineering, which should be good with your ATAR + bonus points.

Yeah I'm actually looking to study engineering at UNSW.
And looking at usual trends, it hasn't steered very far, if not at all from the cutoff required of 91

Should be fine, engineering like you said is pretty stationary every year.

And with the 3 additional bonus points, it should be sufficient enough.

Should be fine, maybe put B Science as second preference if you are worried (and you want to go to UNSW).
