I'm in year 12. I'm not worried about qualifying for an HSC, although I do want to keep going to my drama class, and stay officially enrolled at my school.

Can I stay enrolled if I drop more courses than are required for an HSC? Are there any other consequences?

Any info or advice about this kind of think would be really appreciated!

You can take five years to accumulate enough units for an HSC so there are a number of students across the state who wouldn't be doing a full load this year.

One boy at my school, for instance, is in his third year of Year 12 - and has been accumulating his HSC over these three years with two courses a year (he is an Australian standard athlete).

It is for students like you and him that pathways was actually introduced.
