my school is ranked in the 70s. we have 6 assessments in physics including the half yearlies and trials. I bombed out real bad in 3 assessments altogether worth about 40% of the school mark. All 3 were below 50%. But on the happier side, I killed the half yearly, trial and other assessment compared to the other guys at my school. I My rank is prob about in the middle, 20/40. Do i still have hope of band 6 in physics?

it depends on how well your class performs as a whole on the external exam. But seeing as you killed the trials, i think a band 6 is still possible. Just keep studying your butt off, good luck. :D

what makes a band 6 more possible ?
assesment marks or ranks? or both?

ok say if my assesment marks
chem - 84 - rank 2,3/21
phys - 80 - rank 5/35

if the rest of my year does shit, and i kill the exams would i have a clear chance of pulling b6?

and howbot in
ext-1 maths - 80 - rank 3/24
if my whole class bombs out & fails, and i kill the exam will E4 have a chance?

you'd probably need the rest of the class to do well for you to get b6... because otherwise your assessment marks will get dragged down heaps
