I don't really want to spend another year at my school, for one, the price and secondly l will be the only one who will.

I am upset that my UAI will be low, due to a low mark in Chemistry, so l was wondering if l could pick up one hsc subject and have that added onto my UAI (leaving chemistry out of it)?

You can repeat a HSC subject at Tafe. And from that a new UAI is calculated.

I'm not sure whether Chemistry will be outed in the UAI calculation though. I suppose it would if chem was the lowest mark out of all your units.

I am doing accelerated courses. I finished the chemistry course last year (03) and did the exam.

I am currently doing 12 for prelim and 10 for hsc

I just lost my post. Darnit.

For your 10 units for HSC, is chemistry included?

If so, you can do extra HSC subjects at TAFE. My friend tried to do the same thing, but he was too late, but I think you have a chance since it's the start of the year.

As it's school holidays now, I recommend calling up TAFE and talking to once of the advisors. Sorry I couldn't MORE of help :(.

Oh, I get ya.

That leaves you with 8 units for your HSC year. Wow. Good on you.

One thing, are you sure you want to spend your 05 doing one subject at TAFE when you could be in UNI?

There are pros and cons either way anyway.

Welcome :)

Don't stress about it, you still got a year to go DO WELL in the trials and that can make the difference.
