Can one choose which major a course counts for when they overlap? (1 Viewer)

I am currently doing a BA: Socio Legal Studies, and next year they are offering to count HSTY2671 Law and Order in Modern America as a part of the course. I am however already planning to make my second major History and would not want this course to count toward one of my already limited history choices.
Is this possible?
