not sure i understand - do you mean can you go into the exam and decide to answer with lear instead of cloudstreet even though thats what youve learned in class? if thats what you mean, than yes, you could...but why the hell would you?

LOL Yes you can but unless you studied it on your own (by this I mean studied it VERY VERY well, not just read the text once or twice), you'd be a fool to do so.

We cannot change texts at our school during class, its whatever the teacher wants us to do and we can't change.

well, she isnt going to be there in the exam room looking over your shoulder so technically, you can do whatever pleases you.

Our teacher said that a guy last year did some totally different text for some module (in the trial paper) and she still marked him, you can't be that harsh..

Another dude in our year this year did geophysics option topic while we are doing medical physics, teacher still marked him :).

i think he was talking bout the actual hsc though (or did i miss something???? - is quite possib;e!) not the trials. i dont think many schools would be veyr kind about people doing quetions outside their module - but in th hsc they'll never know.

do you have access to lots of teaching material etc. for Lear? i mean, not that its hard to get, but you'd need really excellent stuff if you were going to start studying now.
just consider: everyone else who studied Lear had teachers to go through the stuff with them, practice on a Lear question in the trial to see how they were going and has spent a lot longer on it than you have the chance of doing. do you really want to be doing so much catch up when you need to be studying for everything else? sounds insane to me *worried look*
