Is it alright if it has the trigonometry triangles that show the exact values on them? That's something we're expected to remember... Aren't we?

"no printed formulae other than equations of simple curves (such as y=x2)"

Its not printed formulae is it? Its just the triangle? If so then that sounds alright.

Mathaid4 has:
Exponential Curves,
Sin and cos curves
the 2 triangles with the sides on them marked.
porabola curves.
shapes and circles etc.

are these "simple" enough to take in?

Thanks

Should be fine.

Ive got a mathomat (which I never use anyway!) which has the same stuff on it, and my maths head teacher said it would be ok.

Can someone tell me if they check the calculator versions, etc?

I have a Casio that resembles the allowed model, but it's own model name/number is not on the list of the board-approved calculators.

However I have been using it for years, and I'd really prefer not to buy a new one :(

I think they do check them because just before trials our teachers made us make sure we had an approved one as in from the list, so we didnt get caught out in the actual thing... I dont know maybe urs will be ok
