I did a lot of hours. Not sure exactly how many as the logbook was garbage but it was a fair bit (probably 90+ at least because I drove pretty much every time when I was with a parent).

same pretty much, first couple times it's pretty terrifying on a main road but then you enjoy it, hours rack up quickly this way.

the hours requirement is not bad, filling out the book get's tedious and frustrating after a while.

Some kid made an app to electronically do this, it was on the news recently

Lol, iirc that app was completely useless. You'd have to copy it down to the real book at the end anyway and it didn't offer any automation of note.
