Yes there are heaps of them.
Cats in the Cradle
Father of Mine - Everclear
Change - Melissa Etheridge
Any Sheryl Crowe song
Living End - (the walls tumble down?) not sure of the name

Just remember it is easyer to use a song that you already know.

Good Luck

The easiest one to do that i have found is
CITY HIGH "WHAT WOULD U DO"

that is easy to listen to and it conveys a strong message about how someones life can change from one extreme to the next. :argue:

Crap song ahoy. #8D

On the other hand...

"Torn" by Imbruglia. Or "City."

Even "My Sacrifice" by Creed? I don't know...

No. There is a line that should not be crossed concerning the discussion of poor/tacky music. That crosses it. :p Natalie Imbruglia is border line

Well... One could get the markers on-side by using, say... The Beatles.

Or "Twelve o' Clock Rock"

The numbers change, y'see:

"1, 2, 3 o' Clock Rock, 4 o' Clock Rock
5, 6, 7 o' Clock Rock..."

You get the point. :D :D

How profound lol... appeal to the markers on a personal level. (bonus marks for the band name :D)
Someone actually did that on the standards pack for Change: they said how good 'oldies' music was, and how all the good music nowadays was covers of old stuff. actually it was a good response , i guess that probably would have helped the mark.

btw you got the words wrong :p. im sure the markers would have been really dissappointed.

1 2 3 o'clock, 4 o'clock rock
5 6 7 o'clock, 8 o'clock rock

Note use of "..." to denote more words. *Sigh*

I read the Standards Package response - it sucks. Badly/Muchly. It sounds contrived ("I'm sucking up!").

*Grrrr*

What happened to originality, eh? *Sigh*

I suppose that's what you get after 40 mins of forced writing...

what kind of filthy question is that!?!?!?
:evilfire: originality is alive and kicking in the hsc. so long as it fits within the tight parameters of a 'good' and 'proper' response and is in fact just a regurtitation of what has been crammed into our puny skulls.:evilwhip:
and as far as the creative thing goes, if mine makes as much sense as that one does (!) i would be pretty happy

low expectations --> minimal disappointment

Just don't mention America unless you're praising it - they're paying the markers to fail you so you won't get into any job where your opinions will be respected...

You have been warned. :D
