dishwasher-chattel (if stated by contract: fixture)

electric stove-fixture (if one) chattel (if more than one)

television aerial attached to roof fixture

removable clothesline chattel

demountable shed chattel

is this right?

yeah I was thinking that according to Leigh v Taylor as cited in Palumberi but, the question in the discussion part of the handout for topic 2 in the back of the notes just asks to identify what is a chattel and what is a fixture out of the list given.

Also when making notes what did everyone write for the part about selling fixtures? because the examples are confusing me

NAB v Blackey affirms that all circumstances should be taken into account. The reasoning always varies with these things.

E.g. with your dishwasher example, under Abercrombie such appliance would be a chattel, if there was more than one dishwasher.
