Hey guys,
I'm interested in doing a Neuroscience major, which requires first year chemistry. Since I'm doing advanced science, I have to do CHEM1031, however this is higher chemistry and I didn't do chemistry during my senior years. I'm currently doing the UNSW chemistry bridging course where we learn about:
- periodic table
- naming of compounds
- moles
- balancing equations/stoichiometry
- concentration
- oxidation/reduction
- behaviour of gases/kinetic theory

Do you think that after I finish the bridging course I will have enough background to take CHEM1031?
Does anyone have suggestions of other chemistry concepts to study in preparation for CHEM1031?

I looked over this course today and it's actually quite good. It has all of the important chemistry from the HSC without the bullshit. It also has a little more depth on some concepts (such as gas laws) that the HSC course glossed over a little more
