Hey guys,
This question is sorta aimed at laz or john mu, but anyone who knows better would be great.

My friend is doing both chem and chinese background speakers. He typed in SAM2005 a 57 for chem and a 85 for background speakers and it chose the scaled chem mark over the scaled chinese mark for the aggregate, is this an accurate reading? or is this an anomalie due to the little data on chinese?

Any help would be great.
Thanks

yeah i heard that the scaling for chinese background speakers is shit as
theres only a handful of people doing it like a couple of hundreds
so maybe the 57 for chem is worth a bit more than 85 for chinese background speakers

search for the loading on those subjects

chem is typically high, maybe around 17
chinesewill be shit, probably negitive so -2 or so

hence studying chem is better, so the same mark is worth more in chem
