A mysterious anglo gal from Group A... we're all scared of you group B people! You seem to know so much! Don't you think its funny how our lectures were always split into group B up the back and group A up the front. Poor Wang Ping. She thought we were so silly. We'll have to break the divisions this year.. oh wait, we're not together anymore are we. We alternate every 2nd week or something. Oh well, hello person i will prob never see except at social events for Chisoc.

Im currently doing BComm/BA (Chinese St)

Would i be able to drop the BA and just graduate with a DipLang (Chinese St)?
Also would I have to wait till i graduate from my BComm till i get my DipLang?
Are there graduation ceremonies for diplomas?

i'm a first yr starting advanced chinese lol
Even though this post was like 2 years ago - same xD I hope I'll be able to keep up though... I thought I'd be doing Intermediate Chinese! Advanced seems too hard for me. Can we move classes if it's too difficult? Or was the placement test final? ><

I took first year and it was pretty intense, the pace is very fast and if you don't get the basic pronunciation right from the start you end up feeling some pressure. I can't do anymore chinese in my degree so I just learn on the side now.

If anyone's looking for help (tutoring) I know someone who's looking for some work (she's fluent english/chinese) let me know, I wish I knew someone to help me even when I just did 1A.
(sorry if it's not allowed in this section)
