Hi im trying to figure out what Im doing next year and was wondering if anyone here has done eitehr Immunology second year or Pharmacology: Drugs and people
Just wondering if you could tell me about the courses etc....

I've done Pcol - if you want to do the 2nd semester one you'll find it easier if you do foundations or whatever they call it now in 1st semester. I know people who've coped just in 2nd sem, but you'll need to do a bit of back reading.
Friend of mine did immunology and loved it. I dunno. T cells just don't do it for me.

There's some pretty basic chem in first semester - properties of molecules and such. It's more physiology-based than you might expect. Mostly learning about molecule-receptor interactions at a fairly cursory level. I really enjoyed it and found it tied in well with many other subjects I've studied.

well im doing biotech and human bio has been my favourite subject so far so im actually leaning towards immu, but im confused isnt immu only offered in the first semester? what the hell am i ment to do in my second when basically all subjects follow on from their first semester intros
i hate this, how are we ment to know what to specialise in when we havent even started any biotech ...........
