Hey, Im looking for info on contrasting Christian and islamic views of Fornication I need to write an report on the conflicting views of the two seperate religious denominations, can u plz help.

well i can tell u that the punishemt for fornication in Islam is 100 lashes...
I think Christianity and Islam both see fornicaction as an extreme major sin.... the same way adultery is veiwed in both religions....

perhaps specific questions rather than a general one will aid us in helping U....

Christianity views fornication as a sin, because it is having sex with someone other than you actual marriage partnet, which constitues adultery.... and also it has something to do with "keep the marriage bed holy" that's in hebrews somewhere- maybe chapter 13.
Anyway.
And in some Islamic cultures, you can't even see the body of a female outside of your family after the age of ten... That's why the females all wear thelong robes and the head coverings- but after they are in a room with just females they can wear low cut and more revealing clothes...
