unfortunately for me, my other family members consider christmas to be a time to spend with extended family

It's like they're strangers - I only see them once a year, do they really think they know me?

I see it as a festival being the culmination point of the year. I like the uniforminty of the cheesy carols and decorations. Unfortunatly it has to involve family and seafood.

the only reason why it means nothing to me is that it's getting too commercialised, i know that's a cliche, but it has. this christmas i made an effort to go to church and remember what christmas is about. i didn't want anything in the way of presents and tried to remember the actual importance of christmas.

i celebrate my birthday.
tis fun. im not going to rememebr my next birthday, except from the photographs, but not remeber them getting taken.

my mum and step dad broke up 5days before christmas the year before i started yr7. i was upset as my stepdad moved out and took my bag of christmas lollies and the boardgames i was supoossed to be getting and he gave them to his kids. damn my step dad is a prick.
and even tho my mum and him have been split up for 6yrs now, he is still legally my stepdad by that stupid piece of paper. i cant wait till they get divorced.
