The scaling method used in preparing this league table has five components:
1) CEQ (Course experience questionnaire) generic skills: 17.91% weighting
2) CEQ good teaching: 18.5%
3) CEQ overall satisfaction: 18.9%
4) Students in full-time employment after they graduate: 11.48%
5) Those that go on to full-time study: 10.29%
6) Drop-out or attrition rates: 10.65%
7) Student progress or pass rates: 12.26%

welcome back bitches

i did one better i got the survey from the engineering association form 99-05 and soon 06 which wont make much difference as unsw was the worst in very single one of them, ill accept the fact that UNSW is only good for POST-grad and that's it however death to unsw.

(b) If taken as the complete story, the survey actually indicates that you will get a job. See below.

The report found:

- Only 4 grads still looking for work in Civil Engineering out of ALL Civil grads from ALL universities.
- No Environmental Engineering grads looking for work.

The report also found (from a UNSW perspective) only 10 graduates (6 unemployed)
looking for jobs. Engineering at UNSW graduates probably over 500 or 600 students each year.

have you seen the university of melbourne's survey that says its first in Australia as a uni with its own system, i don't believe it & u wouldn't either however how can i believe a report from its own uni, its rubbish. if it was from engineers australia then ill believe it or some independant engineering organisation
