So your ranks are really important.. yes.. but does your school's internal raw mark affect you in any way? If so how? I know it affects your ranking in that school obviously but apart from that does it have any bearing on your hsc results at all? Or is it completely ignored when moderation occurs?

raw marks are used for RELATIVE GAPS..i.e. board of studies wants to know if the person coming first is by 1 % or by 30%, doesnt matter if their overall mark is 60% or 98%

Uhh, the raw marks are the basis for moderation.
