entry standards in all of sydney? obviouslly that doesnt prove anything hey???????

Its called a target audience. UWS was originally created for those out in the western suburbs who don't have the money and the same levels of education that those in more priveleged parts of sydney do. So no it doesnt prove anything. Any idiot can pay for a degree at any uni, yet walk out jobless and be unable to get a job in the area of his or her degree. Only someone who has worked hard to earn their degree regardless of uni preference will/can walk out of uni degree in hand and get a job where they wnat to go in the field they want to be in. Of course.. money pays for alot of things which must be taken into account.

Actually for those of us who are intelligent, we would rather test our levels of intelligence against those who are more able to withstand the pressure. Thats why there are selective schools, 3u hsc courses and honor years. Your intelligence counts for nothing if you don't continue to use it and test it against others of the same caliber. Being the only intelligent one in a group, no matter how large is not only uncomfortable.. its boring. Though for some less intelligent people it makes them think they are more intelligent, despite the fact they are only deluding themselves.

I find one of the perks of acheivement and hardwork is you get to look down on the less fortunate and have a big larf? whats wrong with that?????

if you have truely acheived something and worked hard for it, looking down on someone else is only a minor concern. You would be more pleased with your result and would strive to better yourself... if it truely meant that much to you. On the other hand if you only did it to look down on others and 'larf' as you put it, then the victory is a hollow one and meaningless.

guys like i said i used to go to the uni, part of the tradition of uws is to take shame in going to that uni, knowing that its one of the worst in sydney and knowing as i already stated that its a charity service for dumbies.

The truth is out there and what you say about the uni will come back on day and with a flair of dramatic irony... bite you in the arse. We know why we like our uni, why we chose it and why we wanted to complete our studies there.. or also why we chose to leave. None of the above reasons would have anything to do with it, and are the excuses of someone who either couldnt handle it (if you did attend) or who was rejected from the 'charity service for dumbies'.

considering? i dropped before the census. The course i was doing wasnt going to get me where i wanted to go fast enough.. and it was as boring as all shit. Can't say the people there were that nice either. North Shore snobs. More bad than nice unfortunately. *shrugs*

no irony. i didnt drop the course because it was bad or anything. i dropped because it wasnt where i wanted to go and i found a quicker, cheaper way to get the qualifications i needed. My decision has no bearing on uws and how good/bad it is, there are only 2 univerisities in this state who offer the course i want to do(at undergrad studies). *shrugs* UWS isnt one of them. And no im not going to another uni either.
