what are some good colognes that suit everyday situations such as going to uni, shopping, going to work, etc.

what i mean is, colognes that don't stand out in anyway ie they just give you a subtle hint of fragrance slightly better than your deodorant and the smell of washed clothes. colognes that don't make a statement?

yes but it is far too common. everybody knows what acqua di gio smells like, i want something that is barely noticeable but still smells awesome.

they are definately not subtle fragrances

if you're a guy check out

CK - one
CK - crave (i think its not discont)
Hugo Boss fragrances (there is one thats a bit heavy, but others a quite nice) dont know names

im a fan of acqua di gio, but it is fairly common. note that all fragrances will SLIGHTLY differ on your skin from some1 elses.

if you want light, try polo ralph (cant stand most of there fragrances) but romance is nice for both men and women

kenneth cole has a delicious fragrance in a grey bottle with lil dots on it lol

also check out PAUL SMITH (for light fresh fragrances)

DUNHILL Blue + red, might also be a bit popular

BVLGARI have some fresh spicy fragrances for men also

your best bet is go around to the fragrance wall at your nearest myer/david jones + see what tickles your fancy!

its echo by davidoff, cool water by davidoff (obviously the men's one) is the most orgasmic cologne a guy could wear...but i dont think its very subtle

ck-crave is pretty hot too

def. not subtle...you can smell it a mile away!

i think it depends what someone means by subtle as well, and you can use a fragrance in a heavy or subtle way all well...for example with Givenchy you cannot spray more than 3x otherwise its too overpowering...so to go subtle spray once, or just spray it in the air and walk through it as appose to rubbing it all over your neck....
