Combining 1 unit subject mark with a 2 unit subject (1 Viewer)

Sorry for the confusing title, however, I have heard that if you do really well in a 1 unit subject (assuming you have more than 10 units) they can combine that mark with the mark of a 2 unit subject. Can anyone clarify/confirm this?

if you have 11 units (say SOR1) and do better in SOR than CHEM then 1U of chem will "count" and also 1U of SOR.

I think that's what OP meant?

They will give your 1 unit subject a weighting for 1 unit, and do the same for your worst 2 units.
