* its interesting ( for me!) to see lotsa people say economics is one of the most populer subs at their school. because at ours it hasnt run for like the past 5 years and this year it is running but with only 7 people. 10 years ago they had an ecos class of one! so yeah interesting for me to note

1. yes
2. english advanced I think. the secound would be either mathematics 2U (or maybe maths general?). the third? hard to tell. business studies seems to be increasingly popular.
3. maths ext2: cambridge by Arnold-Arnold (we've only used it as the primary source for the polynomial topic) and various handouts but considerably from New Senior Maths, maths ext1: cambridge by Pender, physics: Jacaranda by Andriessen, chem: Conquering Chemistry by Smith, business: Business Studies in Action by Chapman, religion 1U: Living Religion from Longman (rarely used though), english: the prescribed texts and On Purpose (again, never used).
4. no.. I found an electronic copy of the Excel Physics on boreofstudies.org though... wondered what happened to the copyright laws...
5. oops.. after reading this question I should say "a little" for question 4 and "no" for question 5. I looked at the religion and physics.

didn't know leading edge make textbooks.. we use some of their Business Studies Update.

1.You buy your school text books? No
2.What are the most common subjects? English (to be more specific, standard english), Maths, business studies, religion (yup compulsory), legal studies and i think that's it.
3.What text book do you use for each subject?
maths: jones and couchman and some handouts from maths in focus and accelerated learning maths
chemistry: chem contexts
legal: heinemann but we also get handouts from macmillan
ipt: heinemann and this old computing studies book i forgot
sor 2u: living religion
4.Do you use excels? yes if i'm desperate. only use it for chem and ipt.
5.What subjects for excel do you buy? chem

@ girl04, yeah i reckon! my friend does eco and there's only one class. ipt is a one class only as well. which is good co it's easier toknow the rankings. in fact at my school, there's no yr11 sdd class ^^ but there's a yr12 one.
