If you had to choose four courses from the following list...which would you choose?
Of those 4...please rank them in order in terms of ease (wam boosters), enjoyability,amount of hours needed to be spent (reading/general hw/revision etc.),other factors etc.

Thank you ♥

I can tell you not to pick ACTL1001 unless you're wanting to be an actuary because that thing kills WAM.

Also, I didn't like FINS1613. It's calculation based financial stuff, and I think you have to be inclined in that sort of finance way to really enjoy the subject - and hence, be motivated to study for it.

Well ACCT1511 requires ACCT1501 first, so you can determine if you'd like 1511 on if you liked 1501.

Of those, I'd pick ECON1102 because I enjoyed Microeconomics - and I think Macroeconomics is based a lot on HSC Economics.

FINS1613? I dunno... 2 hours? 3 hours? Just depends on how quickly you get the homework questions and understand the content.

I don't know about the subjects for UNSW so it might not be accurate since I'm relating this to Macq, but my advice;
Don't do Macro unless its part of ur core its much harder than micro.

But if i were to choose i would do;
•FINS1613 Business Finance (6 UOC)
•ECON1102 Macroeconomics 1 (6 UOC)
•INFS1602 Info Systems in Business (6 UOC)
•MARK1012 Marketing Fundamentals (6 UOC)

I'd imagine ACCT1511 is the 2nd part of the accounting foundation, so i would choose finance because I haven't done it yet and I have no interest of pursuing accounting as my major.
I need Macro for my major in econometrics.
Marketing also a core
The last one is entirely up to you as basic knowledge of IS/Buslaw is beneficial unless ofcourse one is part of your major. i choose Info systems simply because law textbooks are super duper expensive n run out of date fast so selling them will be quite hard. But u should also look into your interest.

So finally, as you can see the subject one chooses depends on the major they're going to partake. depending on what is compulsory for their degree with a few electives (where they choose the easy subjects depending on what you're good at or subjects that will broaden their future knowledge)- as each human is different you can never get an answer to which subject is easier for you.

Well I did FINS1613, ACCT1511, ECON1102 and MARK1012.

If I was to rank them I would say

FINS1613
ACCT1511
ECON1102
INFS1602

I havent done INFS1602 but I reckon probably might be better than MARK1012. MARK1012 is so boring and heavy in content... makes me not want to learn...

Hey is it possible to do Business and the Law, if you actually do law? Because I read the outline and it deals with torts (negligence) and whatnot.

If you are a student of the Law Faculty, you are not eligible to study any courses with the course code LEGT. Since Business and the Law is included in it, you are not eligible to study it.

Plus, I'm sure that information is contained within the Handbook - you should see what students/courses are excluded.
