well ken robinson just said COMP3711 is now INFS4848. we still enrol in COMP3711, but classes run with INFS4848 and it should be considered as an INFS core. that leaves me with only a 6 UOC INFS to worry about. I guess the decision now is either INFS2607 or INFS3608.

If the prefix is still COMP3711, it leaves you with 9uoc still (essential 2 6uoc infs courses to do)

This is because the commerce faculty will view COMP3711<->INFS4848 as fine for exemptions in the case of pre-req's, BUT they will not view COMP3711 as being a requirement under the minor, which stipulates 24uoc of INFS. Probably need to alert ken to this, some time in the future. When I have time (after thursday) I'll mail ken about this and see what he has to say.

Assuming the decision is left to you only having to fufill another 3uoc (1 6uoc INFS course), then why;

is the decision between INFS2607 or INFS3608?

Eh? I never heard about this. BLEH - whatever. I dun needa do INFS4848 isn't part of my degree so I dun needa bother.
