Comprehension help - need techniques (1 Viewer)

I'm usually stuck for techniques when I'm doing comprehension. Does anyone have a resource with techniques listed for specific text types i.e. visual literary techniques, poetic techniques, etc...

Your help would be very much appreciated!

is for the names of techniques you probably know and use all the time but never knew had a name.

For visual techniques, know the following:

layout
superimposition
lighting
foreground/background
hue
saturation
texture
vector
text/font
symbolism

To make use of visual stimuli you need to be able to twist it into some context in order to make sense of it.
