25.0ml of 0.100 mol L-1 copper nitrate solution is reacted with 25.0ml of 0.1 mol L-1 sodium hydroxide solution

Find the mass of the precipitate formed

there are two mole values, both which are equivalent to each other. except the ratio of copper nitrate to sodium hydroxide is 1:2.

and i found sodium hydroxide to be in excess.

What value/s do i take to solve the question?

The excess shit can't react with shit that ain't there honey, the excess shit will just remain in solution so you take the value of the deficient shit.

Copper nitrate is in excess, not sodium hydroxide.

I worked it out to be 0.122g, did it on a shitty calculator without paper so it might be wrong.
