So i read up on the undergraduate program for medicine at UNSW and it says that you apply around June well before the UMAT and HSC. It then says that they interview you first, how do they select students for the interview if they have no results and only a predicted ATAR?

first round interviews (late Nov) based on predicted ATAR and actual UMAT results

second round interviews for those whose actual ATAR was higher than predicted
