You do the ACT Year 12 Certificate.okokokok... im currently in yr 11 and i want to become a doctor (asian parents ftw), and i know you need a superior uber ridicoulously high ATAR to acheive said goal....
im in the ACT, so i dont really know how the system works (do we do HSC, VCE or something completely different here in the ACT??) or what the capped subjects are so to speak, but here are my current courses:
Human Biology
Chemistry
Specialist Mathematics Core (is that like math extention 1 in other states??)
English (currently "normal english" for all yr 11s in the first term in order to standardize all yr 11 students - im most likely going to do an extension course next term)
Business Studies
Beginning Chinese
am i on track (like with the right subjects) and what scores do i have to get in these subjects to get the mega ATAR??
any help would be muchmuchmuch appreciated!![]()
Well, your subjects don't scale horribly.does this mean its harder for me to scale well to get the results i want??![]()
The ATAR required depends on what uni you're applying for. You also need to do the UMAT and an interview.what course scores do i have to get for the subjects i am taking to get into medicine?? and are the subjects i picked the right ones??![]()
The ATAR must be over 95, not sure about UMAT, but it's pretty much the interview that determines whether you get in (if you have good ATAR).yea, i know about the umat, interview and stuff... currently i want to get into monash... wats the atar and umat score required to get into that uni??
Um, so do YOU want to become a doctor or do your parents want you to become a doctor?okokokok... im currently in yr 11 and i want to become a doctor (asian parents ftw),![]()
