I didn't like USyd or UTS all that much (for engineering), so my hopes are pinned on unsw....

There's no where else better for Engineering than UNSW. I could rave on for hours, but you should know this after attending C&C anyway.

Well, thats over now. For those who wanted to know, I was at the front gate (Anzac parade) - the Asian guy with the two clickers in my hand - one click for each person that entered the gate. I've got RSI now - clicking that thing thousands of times!!

I went today. My mood was lifted significantly after seeing the Engineering boys yell "FREE ENERGY FROM THE SUN!!!" and then "FREE ICE-CREAM!!!"

True...well it's well-spent money, but our uni should really start investing their money more into research after they've finished with all the touch-ups to the School of Chem + Law Faculty.

Though this was the main reason why I liked UNSW more than USYD, it's good to be able to see where the money goes..

i think unsw got the most grants outta all aust unis this yr for research

they need to re-build that whole area behind applied science, near the gym

They did. But it's for research, and research only. Not for buildings. That comes from our HECS payments.
