WHAT IS THE F*****G DEAL!

This is further to what other ppl have said.. about how theyre marks dropped as soon as they got to year 11 and etc etc....

why does the Board of Studies base all studies of texts up to year 10 on leavisite readings and understand what the text is about etc, and then as soon as we hit year 11/12 we are meant to go on and talk about marxist readings and feminist readings and etc etc

i mean... wouldnt it be btter if they worked us into it a bit more... by slowly building it up... introducing maybe feminist or post colonial in year 9 and another in year 10

thats what they are starting now i think.... they've probably realise just how stupid they have been with the introduction of the new hsc... i wish we could go back to the days when they just had to know themes and characters and shit like that... man the old hsc way was much better...
ohh and you know how u have to do one comparison text thingy like transformation for eg emma- clueless or hamlet- something else i dont know what.... well now our school and im sure many others are putting that style thing into the junior syllabus with year 9's doing taming of the shrew and 10 things i hate about you.... are they gonna ahve a head start or what!!!!!!!!

its the biproduct of having steady deterioration of teaching standard:

yr 7: langker --- good (note left school)
yr 8: walker ---- half decent (note left school)
yr 9: eggleton -- PAPER FIGHT!!!!
yr 10: selway --- NOOOOO!!!
Yr 11: selway --- plz tell me its just a dream
yr 12, term 1: selway ---- kill. me.

luckily selway got fired from our class and we had shepherd who is slightly better... hmmm :\

Edit: oh yeah the fact that i dropped from 10th to 147th from yr 11 to yr 12 also helps in me wanting 2 blame something preferably some1 (besides myself) too :D

didnt goody break down or sumthing in class once??

andway i had:
yr 7: walker (gone)
yr 8: shepherd (hate her she hates me)
yr 9: gilligan (HDs for all)
yr 10: shepherd (dropped many places that year)
yr 11: first half - langker (came 9th in year) - now gone
Year 11 second half - Brydon and Pearson (did not cover the owrk AT ALL... i only have summaries for half of harwoods poems and of 2 changing booklet things, and with the examiners possibly asking specifics now i have no clue - dropped 110 places that half of year)
Year 12: first 6 weeks - Fenton (gone)
year 12 next week - noone
year 12 next 4 weeks - conomos (gone)
year 12 term 2: kaye

now in all my senior years the only teacher who has been good has been langker, with cinimos a close second. Kaye seems alright but i just get the feeling shes teaching it a bit... abstract... but we shall see...
