Hi guys, just a quick query. Was walking around the very small cumberland campus during enrolment and noticing its complete lack of excitement and general facilities... (gym closes at 6pm weekdays?!?!) oh and the fact that just about everyone is a chick. Seriously though, with our 9-5 timetables, is there much of a social life on this campus? Do u guys have time to party on weekdays, weekends or during semester breaks? (heard u have clinical during those times too) Taking up radiation science and wondering whether i should say goodbye to a life this year, lol... na im kidding.

oh. well i wrote a really long post about the joys of cumbo social life. and then i realised it sounded like i was trying too hard and no one would belive it so i stuck to brevity.
but no yeah- it sure does. almost every wedneday night they organise some sorta pissup
-pub crawls (especially Lab coat and hat)
-harbour cruises (with quality themes that everyone goes all out for)
-you'd always run into cumbo people at nth. sydney on a thursday night as well
- i never went to a bible study but im sure they're great too
-they organised like, a physio ball and a sport science ball as well but i didnt go to that either

uni sounds like a big ask in terms of time and commitment...and maybe there is actual work involved to get a high d average. but for the vast majority that aim to study only during stuvac and avoid failing by the narrowest margin possible- then there is nothing to fear- theres plenty of time to socialise during uni year.

thats the nickname for greenwood- at least within my circle of friends but i'm pretty sure we didn't invent it.

a cumberland social life can exist if people organise stuff or attend stuff- what's the worry?
