Hi,
I'm currently in civil, but I'm transferring to civil/environmental in 2014.
I didn't do chemistry in high school, but I did MATS1101. If anyone has done CVEN2701 (water and atmospheric chemistry), do you think MATS1101 chemistry knowledge will be enough? If I review the CHEM1101 course, and look at the tutorials, will I be ok?
My result was 81 for materials and chemistry.

Thanks

Well the point isn't how well you did in MATS or how much you can review in CHEM1101, the prerequisite for CVEN2701 is CHEM1011 or CHEM1031, so you must do those in order to be able to enrol into that course. You can, however, discuss this with the Civil office and see if they let you enrol into CVEN2701 without doing CHEM1011 or CHEM1031, but that's a rare case.

Thanks, D94, I've spoken with a lecturer and he recommended to the civil office that I be allowed to enrol.
I'm just concerned with the preparation that I should do.
