Re: Cultural Maxism: Political Correctness/Feminism

I'm all for equality between the sexes, but when a man simply bumps into a woman on a bus and is then beaten and harassed by a mob of women, driven out of the bus, and is then arrested and named the culprit of the situation, something obviously went wrong with modern day 'feminism'

https://au.news.yahoo.com/a/3149823...by-angry-women-after-alleged-harassment/#play

He was not even facing that woman when he fumbled, 'sexual harassment' my ass. If it was had been a woman who bumped into a man who thought she was groping him, causing a whole group of men to start beating her up, all those men would be in jail.

The traditional meaning and aim of 'feminism' is to achieve equal opportunities and rights for women. It is not: achieving equal opportunities and rights for women, at the expense of the rights of men. Unfortunately so many extreme feminists these days do not understand this concept.

No I'm talking about just general social / society things that shape the way young girls and boys think and what they are introduced to and thus get interested in.

You seem to not see something I do. When there's such a large difference in gender percentages in an industry - it's worth looking into. We shouldn't just sweep it under the rug and go 'yeah sounds like nothing is wrong here' even though there may not be. But we must look into it in case there is an issue we can try to resolve.

I've said this on these forums before in more detail I think, but I strongly believe it has a lot to do with young kids, gendered toys, and society labelling STEM toys etc.
Ok, I see your concern, but have you done as you claim? Because as far as I know there have been a number of studies that have found no links to sexism in society. Of course sexism exists but where it does, everyone is against it. You may have beliefs, but do you have any evidence or reasons to support such beliefs? And don't tell me that not having 50 50 gender balances everywhere is evidence. You say for example gendered toys cause social structures dividing boys and girls. And evidence of this?

Exactly, they have no concept of gender or gender norms and thus this behaviour can be considered indicative of their inherent nature.

As for SJWs, they're not helping, as anyone who follows the astronomy community would know all too well.

It may not look professional but it is not sexist.

FACT - It was his friend who made it for him WHO WAS A WOMAN. http://www.theguardian.com/fashion/...-shirt-awful-what-should-wear-instead-rosetta

"There is no ‘meaning’ behind the shirt. I just bought material and sewed it together.

Nothing sinister at all was meant behind it at any point. It was just a bold and individual fashion item."
