Cy, short for Cyclopes, a kitten born with only one eye and no nose, is shown in this photo provided by its owner in Redmond, Oregon, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005. The kitten, a ragdoll breed, which died after living for one day, was one of two in the litter. Its sibling was born normal and healthy. (AP Photo/Traci Allen)

well, it would seem like it would have a hard life, but i know a kid that was blind in one eye and no one noticed until he went to school, where the teachers noticed something peculiar about him. and now he is in his late 20s i think, so that shows that if you are born with a disablity you would be able to easily mould your life around it because you never knew what it is like withoit the disability and cant regret the disability as strongly as someone who got disabled after living a energetic life.

I am sure the other cats wouldn't have been to harsh on him...
the other cats wont, but definetly will!

Dont like animals that much especially dogs and cats! SO if a cat had one eye, and was fucking croucing near me, it will me dead within a few secs. But the same would normal cat or dog anyway.

but thats weird how can the eye be in the middle? shouldnt it be on a side or somthing?

Does the eye shoot some sort of laser? That would be interesting.

It has one eye and a beak. Its head is shaped more like a chimps' than that of a standard cat.

Had the article not stated it was a kitten, I wouldn't have known what it was. Cool though, I hope more beasts of Greek mythology are spawned from domestic pets.

thats disturbing. the poor animal, im glad it died. at least it didnt have to go through its life burdened with that deformity...and any other associated problems.
