go our school at a ranking of 193, considering that we were ranked 508 in 2004
Hey...who are you?

I was like woah, our little crappy nothing public school actually managed to crack the 200! I knew our year could do it, we're the most intelligent bunch of students seen in a loooong time around these parts. So proud :D.

Ouch, Manly got beaten by Penrith and Merewether...that hurts

On another note, god North Sydney Girls did bad this year..they are usually always runner up to Ruse

Maybe Sydney, Baulko and Hornsby just did unusually well? That's a bit weird coming from an HGHS-supporter, but it is a possibility - they might just "bounce back" next year (what I'd really like to see is last year's Daily Telegraph so I can actually count up the per cent ratio difference to see whether it was NSGHS doing "bad", or just the other schools doing "good").

I'd say in terms of Baulko and Hornsby, they are improving up the list.... which means the NSG goes lower. Baulko and Hornsby will continue to be up there as well.

to the person who posted the SMH list

it had no percentages of how many students sat for the HSC vs the amount of merits

it's purely the amount of merits, which glitter fairy had already talked about

so in my opinion hghs is still the BEST, most balanced school ever... (though this is also coming from an hghs person)

go hornsby!!!!!!!

Yeah, definitely. Especially considering they speak for the vast majority of male students. Balanced for sure.

hahah well i meant balanced as in academic and other personal developments

.... well even though our younger grades are leaning wayyyy over towards academic than extra curricular stuffs... but that's besides the point lol
