i don't shop at either cos i'm cheap, but myer's slogan doesn't sound right -- "my store, myers" umm no. it was better as "my store, grace BROTHERS" =/

David Jones is definitely a higher class place to shop compared to Myers, it's just the setting and service, and the fact that there's less people most of the time...since that theirs not as much bargain hunters i suppose....

But yeah, if you want to see a difference look at the ones in the city...David Jones is a lot nicer...but nothing beats QVB...

nsw was the only state that it was called grace brothers, all others were myer....the "My store" campaign was invented for the Myer name but they had to make Grace Brothers fit for nsw. it sound way better with My Store Myer (the My My) thats where the idea was derived from. my store grace brothers sounds wrong, rhythmically.

No, Djs doesnt have lay buy, and yes its SOOO much better than MYER. When i was in there DJS with a mate of mine last year he was asking the sales assistants for a particular perfume to buy for his mum for xmas. The first lady said no we don't have that brand, try the Chemist, the second assiisatnat said said no, I've seen it in Target while the third said, no its in the Reject Shop.
Lol. Luckily i wasnt right next to him so I could sneak away and laugh. He wasnt embarrased about it though.
