Right. Isnt there chaos there sometimes due to large crowds
Surprisingly its a pretty cruisy job. Well I admit I did a bit of kitchenhand work and you just had to put food in an over and then take it out.

Think of it likes the Coles check out operator job without the customers. You work with your own independence. I gave that job up after a couple of months as I no longer need it.

Plus some of the pros of the job were you get to attend music events, sports events for free.......can't complain about that really.

I will also say that some of the big events that I worked at ANZ Stadium included:

* Asian Cup Final 2015 as well as a few of the round robin games
* State of Origin NSW V QLD in 2014 & 2015
* NRL games
* Super Rugby matches
* AFL fixtures
* Bledisloe Cup Aus v NZ
* Bon Jovi concert

If you guys are keen, they advertise the jobs through SEEK and are pretty much looking for anyone (including uni students). You will need a couple of things 1) Food Handlers Certificate and 2) RSA certificate.

I worked in a lot of jobs before but working at ANZ was one of the best experiences I ever had. (better than the labour jobs I did, working in an office in government etc) I also spoke to a lot of university students during that time as well that were working there casually. Also ANZ treat you not like a number, they have their annual christmas parties they hold in November-December, give discounted meals and occasionally you will get free drinks.

I did football (soccer) refereeing during uni

good way to keep fit

Also my uni had some positions open for Honours level students in helping first years with stuff so I jumped on that too

oh, and apply for elections - do vote counting and vote handing out

it's sporadic, but great money if you have nothing else to do on an election day

Agreed. It's also a fair bit of money, but hours could be long.
