I'm in 1st year, second semester, and want to defer for a year. Is this at all possible?

(118) Written applications for leave of absence must be submitted to a Student Centre by 5pm on the approved Census date for the first teaching session for which leave is sought. Applications must state the teaching sessions for which the leave of absence is sought.


Late Submission of Applications for Leave of Absence

(123) Applications for Leave of Absence submitted after the approved Census date will not be accepted as such and instead will be processed in the same way as applications to withdraw from units after the approved Census date.

(124) Students who withdraw from units after the approved census date and wish to apply for Leave of Absence in the subsequent teaching session may do so by completing and submitting a leave application for the required subsequent session.
