deferring for more than 12 months (1 Viewer)

I posted this in the general forum too but was just wondering if anyone knew of, or has deferred their degree for more that 12 months?

reason being I want to go and work overseas for 12 months in July and have an annual subject to do this year which can only be started in feb so resuming uni mid session next year wont help.
