DesignTech 2008 Nominations. Just got a letter saying i've been nominated!!! Who else? What did you make? Have you any pictures?
How many get nominated and how many actually get selected?

Got called this morning I made a photography magazine.

I'm not sure how many nominations there are in total. Our school sometimes gets one or two, but there are years when our teacher said we haven't gotten any. From my memory of the last exhibition, I'd say about 30 or so get selected.

They said that between 2day and 2moro the accepted nominees will be notified.. did anyone get a call yet??

does anybody know how many are initially selected and the number of selections that it all comes down to at the end?

the art teacher at school says that for the art exhibition they first choose 800 and then from that, they choose 200.. so that's a pretty massive cut down. i wonder if its the same here for dt...

who ever gets an answer let us know eh?

Just got a call. I have been selected for the regional tour- Wagga. Rang 7.00pm Thursday so they are running late. Mine is very large 2m x 800 and weighs over 60kg so the Powerhouse was out. Good luck to you all.

At least we know they are still working on it....probably more calls to make
