Do they just send you notes and stuff?

and you can contact your teacher at any time.

I do it for PDHPE.

I was contemplating on doing it for Modern History, but I think the extra work would have been too much, so thankfully I did not do it.

theres many reasons.

Tennis players do it, so we can train all day.
Some people do single courses, because of line clashes & courses not offered at school.

It's not restricted for people in people in the outback. To your second question, I am sure that even if it runs at your school you can do it, but you probably have to have a good reason. It can be done if your school does not run the subject.

Motivation 4/10 (very hard)
Cute girls in my class 9/10 ( dancers, and hotties everywhere)
Teachers 9/10 (very relaxed&low student no.s)

Yeah thats pretty much what happens to me and once in a while the teacher will come and visit and see how where im up to..
But it also depends which subjects you do like some subjects require you to have study days like for languages (Open High) etc and some don't.

if you do it through the DET OTEN thing.. i think they send you the notes. but everyone who goes to a DET school can download these. they are very good notes, so you should go to the OTEN web site (use google) and get the notes.

How easy is the work 9/10
Doing the work 8/10 - extremely boring.
Motivation 4/10 - killer

Teachers 7/10 - all of mine are nuts.

My school only offers Standard English, Gen. Math, Hospitality, Construction, P.I and senior science... i think thats all of them. All the rest are done through Distance Ed.

Theres so much reading involved in it.
Very easy to fall behind.
Video conferences are fun.
