Is it just me, or are there less MX2 E4's across the state?

Speaking purely anecdotally, my school + 3 selective high schools have had a significant reduction in # of MX2 E4's.

I know a few ppl in the year above me who were quite good in maths, and I didn't see them getting an E4 in mx2.

One guy was a gun and always got 98-100 in all of his mx2 assessments and trials but in the end his HSC mark for mx2 is only 93

Pretty interesting I thought, I suppose we'll have to wait for the HSC reports to find any real statistics.

Hmm i thought the test was easiest of all the years, probably some sillies i made among questions i went brain dead over, like the last integration and that quadratic equation one... MY GOD that quadratic equation one.... 93 is like 72 raw or something though, 'shrug' don't know what happened. Probably should've put some effort into class assessments... literally spent like 20 hours in total for first 2 terms of assessments, mark gap between me and 1st in class was 79 to 97, and didn't even come second, ended up with same exam mark as 1st(93). Also i think doing past papers, pre multiple choice, i got atleast 1-2 wrong in every integration section, old habits die hard i guess.

Difficulty of being with a poor cohort, if you don't come 1st (i didn't come first in any subject...), you can't rely on cohort to bring assessment mark up.
Although taking only exam mark, i'd have 4 band 6/e4's. (not including engadv), guess one hit wonders don't get paid off.
The maybe because it's easier this year, everyone did well so the raw mark for band 6 became higher than previous years.
