Yes. That's right, do not leave school if you think it's too hard!!!

I'm so glad I didn't leave now. I was sooo close to leaving during year 11 and I'm glad my family said no - if not I'd probably be a bum. I was planning on doing retail somewhere, but I've since changed my mind.

Seriously, at least finish year 11....then, if you really find it too hard to do, then by all means leave. But look at your options before you go running out of the school. I've seen way too many people just throw it all away because it's hard, and gone to the Vocational school in town, and find it's not what they're after either.

Hard things pay off, remember that too.

Yep, that's all I have to say.

dont do drugs either kiddies and for the love of god DONT HAVE SEX EVER because your penis and/or vagina will fall off. This in turn will lead you to hell to find the missing anatomical structures and then when you are there you realise you can't leave because you are double parked and missing the english advanced paper 1 :(

Dont do drugs, dont have sex and dont drop out of school. Seriously I was going to also drop out of year 11 because I found it 'too hard' I had no idea what I was going to do after I left, all I knew was that I wanted to leave.

I was lucky enough to have an English teacher that year (2002) who found out that I wanted to drop out (Despite getting top marks in most subjects) and she talked to me about what I wanted to do in life (she had a son in yr 11 that yr too) And she convinced me that I was too talented to do something so silly. She had also warned that if I'd approached with a sign-out sheet that she'd rip it in half.

This teacher also went on to become my mentor through the rest of yr 11 & my first yr of yr 12. I was so happy that I stayed at school and did pathways for yr 12. Because now I'm doing something I really love, without my HSC I would not be doing what I love otherwise and life would not be as sweet as it is today.

So whatever you do stay cool by going to school, because you're never too cool for school.

:D

Sure, if you're a talented student and/or are considering going to university, you should definitly consider staying at school. But school isn't for everyone. Some people are better off spending that 2 years doing an apprenticeship and working in trades and that sort of thing. There's nothing wrong with that.
