a pretty good MB is ASUS P4P800 Deluxe, cost $195, great value.

Gigacube > Excalibur
but Gigacube itself is shit brand.

Gigabyte is ok.
there are many better one out there, like Hercules, Sapphire.

Tell me when you do find a decent dealer, most computer shops are all shabby trust me!!

my friends work at DIY computers like around a few minutes away from MSY, and i have heard they're stories for both stores, i just laugh, if you don't know most of their practices are all illegal, but just hidden, and for MSY, reason why they're so cheap is because i think do the importing themselves and stuff.. if forgot, but a friend wanted to price match out comp store with MSY, and failed because the comp store said it was impossible to match their prices, coz they brought their parts directly.

MrMik, P4P800's has different chipset.
The one i was talking about is I865PE, they are more expensive than SiS 648FX and I848.
Firewire and SATA is proably only $10 difference, the different of price is all on the chipset.

Anyway Newbie, onboard sound in ASUS MB is SoundStorm 5, they are pretty good, comparable to SBLive!5.1 , im currently using it.
if you dont wanna use it, you can disable, or u can use two sound ports :)

and DDR333 does work with P4P800 and P4C800.. but i recommend DDR400 if you getting P4 800FSB, to match the FSB speed of 200... eaiser to overclock.
