i was in a real dillema last night because i needed the roosters to win so the eels could have a shot at the minor premiership but it's just humanly impossible for me to want the roosters to win at all. i hope the bulldogs beat the shit out of the roosters and manly thrash the raiders so i can go to school and fart next to roosters supporters.

How can you determine whether one team deserves to be in the final and another doesn't? Obviously the top 8 teams are on the most points, showing that they have played better than the bottom 7 teams, and therefore deserve to be in the finals. If the Roosters make the finals, it won't be simply because of them getting lucky with other teams losing. They have to beat the Bulldogs, and by a considerable amount considering the Panthers are in the same situation as us. If Manly lose, who says that they 'deserve' to be in the finals?

Well yeah that was my point... i don't think I made it very clear. I meant that if the Roosters win and make the top 8, they deserve to be in the finals.
The top 8 teams are the ones that deserve it... whoever they might be. It's not fair to say that a team that has made the top 8 doesn't deserve to be in the finals.
