Does one have the option of choosing if first year university counts? (1 Viewer)

I am currently doing Social Inquiry at UTS and hate it, and recently I've decided to transfer to something in the University of Sydney. My question is, once you have done a year of university can you choose whether to apply with either half UAI half University or just start again with ones UAI?

Each uni is different

USYD says you must do one yrs worth of study and they have a 1/2 uni 1/2 uai system

Yeah, I'm aware that you need a whole year before you can go half and half, but can you, after completing a whole year of university, choose to apply using only your uai.

i think you have to ring them up and ask USYD.
You think you wouldnt make the course you wanna do with the half UAI, half first year tertiary results system?

also wondering if my subjects for the second semester get a DNF (discontinued - not fail), will my FTE still be 1?
