Does school knows what you have achieved? ie. your final ATAR? (2 Viewers)

our dux is based on school/internal assessment marks not hsc lol (I dunno how they do the estimates or consider the different weightings)

so basically the dux gets announced a week before hsc results come out... sometimes dodgy when the dux doesn't do so well externally
Yeah, my school gave a medal to the person who topped each subject and certificate for 2nd. If you did extension maths/english you weren't considered for 2 unit. I cam 3rd overall in mathematics, but because the 2 people above me did extension 1, I got the medal MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Anyway, the person with the most medals/certificates regardless of subjects gets dux.

My school didn't even give us atar estimates.
