Donne readings (1 Viewer)

I started to prepare some readings on the poetry. What readings could I do for "Batter my heart"? Is there enough to rely on psychoanalytical or should I talk about other views? I cant really see the femanist reading in it. Anyone know some resources about other readings for the other poems?

Batter my heart hmm..
I can't recall ever writing about readings for specifc poems, I just gave a general consensus from different readings of Donne's poetry as a whole, quoting namely from Dryden and Samuel Johnson...then from Eliot in a contemporary perspective - I guess my argument was saying that different readings are affected by context

CS Lewis and Helen Gardiner are other good critics to look at when writing about Donne

u may as well learn to research independantly now, else u'll have a hard time next yr...
