Melbourne defeated St George Illawarra 24 to 16.

No. That is incorrect.

The correct statement is this:

St George Illawarra defeated themselves 24 - 16.

They should be ashamed, those Dragons boys.

That referee was definitely the most whistle happy ref in the NRL this season. 4 penalties to Melb in a row, 4 to the Dragons and alot of stop/starts.

The Storm didn't "land themselves" a win. The Dragons gave it to them :S

The Sea Eagles' comeback was pretty awesome, considering what was riding on the game for Penrith. It reminded me of Dragons vs Sea Eagles at Oki Jubilee Round 25 last season, actually.

He did, but the penalty count ended up 11-10 to the Storm.

So complaints can't really be made except for the obvious fact that play wasn't flowing.

Like I said on WORL forums, I'll say it here too:

It doesn't matter what the penalty count had been today. If Dragons had won the penalty count 25 to 3, it just would have meant that the Dragons would have knocked the ball on 25 more times on the Storm line.

On this performance, they wouldn't have even beaten the Roosters. Yeah, that's right, Mel. They wouldn't have even beaten the Roosters. :p :p

ROFL the Broncos beat the Dragons. But the Storm beat us, so the Storm beat the Dragons. I think St George is a good side, and Melbourne is also a good side because they beat us, but Brisbane is the best side out of the whole competition.
I think the grand final will be Brisbane against St George or Cowboys. Hahahahaha we beat the Cowboys two times already this year.
Broncos are the best team in the competition !!!!!!
