Hello

Just wondering if it's too late to drop out of a GenEd that started on the 2nd of Janurary 2007 (XB). By that I mean are there any academic penalties or anything, or can we just drop out of it scot-free?

Also, do we just drop it by unenrolling from it in my.unsw? My friend did this and he still has his course content and everything still up on WebCT Vista (online course). Does that mean he didn't drop out properly using my.unsw, or does it just take some time for them to delete you from WebCT?

Cheers

As for this, you should go to your Gen Ed's Timetable Page, and look for the Census Date stated.

You should be able to disenrol/Drop your course free of Academic & Financial Penalties. Call your Faculty's Student centre for confirmation

I don't think census date = academic penalty date. I know when the census date is, but I'm not sure when the academic penalty date is.
